A preferred return, often referred to as a "pref," is a concept commonly used in investment and finance. It represents a specific rate of return that certain investors, typically limited partners in a partnership or fund, receive before other investors, such as the general partner or
sponsors, are entitled to a share of profits. It's a way to provide certain investors with a priority or preference in terms of receiving returns on their investment.
At Zillionaire Investments, preferred returns are typically used to incentivize investors to invest in our products. We offer our investors a 12% annualized return on there contributed capital that is paid monthly at 1%. This is also our hurdle target that we must hit every month in order for us to receive our performance allocation.
There is no Lock-in period. Our fund operates on a 30 day cycle. This is typically when we will make revenue distributions, bring on new investors and cash-out existing investors. For the most part a large portion of our investors prefer longer term compounding returns, but appreciate the option to take a distribution if required. Our fund Is designed with liquidity in mind and all of our partners may withdraw at anytime. All we ask is for is a few days of a heads up so we may make arrangements to send you your cash.
It's difficult to put an exact figure on profits from month to month. Profits may very due to seasonality, economic conditions, news events, and over all market volatility.
A good rule of thumb to use is that we only get paid after we hit at least a 1% per month hurdle. We generally like to under promise and over perform and target at least 4% per month conservatory. On average we have exceeded that target month over month.
Yes. While our intraday strategy and risk controls aim to reduce volatility and avoid overnight market gaps, commodity futures carry inherent leverage and price swings. You should invest only risk capital and review the Private Placement Memorandum, which details all material risks.
There is always a risk associated with investments. Investing is not a guaranteed venture. A fund's past performance is not indicative of its future performance. Generally, funds with higher expected returns involve more risk. As an investor you should do all of your due diligence, don't be afraid to ask questions, read the fine print, and most of all if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is. We recommend that you consult with a financial advisor before making any investment decisions to ensure you are comfortable with the level of risk associated with the fund.
